happy 70th birthday dad!!!!!

I can't believe Dad is 70 today. He still looks great and does not show signs of sickness. I am so thankful for everyday that he is still around and able to be his normal self! We ate at the Eiffel Tower at Paris hotel to celebrate. It was so nice to be able to be together in Las Vegas. Fallon enjoyed the fine dining, esp. the foie gras since I could not.

congrats to alexis ferrera on her graduation!

How time flies! Alexis Ferrera - a close family friend of ours, graduated from Catholic Central High School - my alma mater. It was just yesterday that we toted her around on our hips as a toddler!! She's all grown up now and enrolled at Case Western for pre-dental! We are so proud of you Alexis. I was also commissioned again by Rita Ferrera to make her graduation invitations. Hope everyone liked them:)

last memories in our old house...mom and dad - helping us move!

Mom and Dad came into town for a visit and to help us pack up and move to the new house. It has been exhausting - emotionally and physically. The temps moved higher and the realization that we were leaving our completely settled home had begun to set in. I was definitely sad and I cried when I saw most of the stuff being moved. Most of our belongings were gone for good. We tried to take some photos of the deconstruction.Dad and Fallon playing mancala.Brushing the dogs after a bath in the backyard.Papa feeding Fallon her favorite - blue crabs!Jon and Fallon helping me bake a cake for Papa's 70th Birthday!

mother's day

Jonathan got me a Spa day at Red Rock Hotel. - I had a Maternity Masssage - she worked out that sciatic pain and I also had a facial. It was so relaxing, especially while we were in the middle of moving madness!! I'm planning to go back - it was wonderful!!

cousin kim gregson's bachelorette weekend

Jonathan's cousin, Kim Gregson, came into town with her friends to have a bachelorette blowout! We also finally met Erin Garnett Gregson - Brian Gregson's new wife - she is great. We met them at Mirage for lunch and caught up on everything. Fallon took it upon herself to entertain them. She is definitely not shy! It was great to see them before Kim's wedding which is on June 16. Oh! check out that "bachelorette-sized" hot dog!!>

last minute trip to la...

We decided to make a last minute trip to LA for some furniture for the new house, especially a making a big hit at IKEA on the way back. We didn't really meet up with anyone, except we saw Armand at Crate&Barrel for a second. We've just been needing a short getaway for a while and it was great for Fallon to see the beach. I also got to make a few business appointments on my favorite street - Robertson Blvd., to Kitson Kidsand lisa klein kids. We also picked up some adorable tees for Fallon at kitson - how can anyone resist?? We stayed at Farmer's Daughter on Fairfax - cute hotel - so we could be across the street from The Grove. It was so fun to be in perfect weather and not have to worry about all things HOUSE!

las vegas home + design article out now !!

The article on Plain Zane and Mutze (Ashley and I) came out today from Las Vegas Home + Design. It's a very nice publication so we were thrilled to be featured in it - and no, it's not a "free magazine." Ashley, Jonathan and I met at Barnes and Noble to get some copies. It was very exciting for us :) Of course, we were so cheesey, we had to take pictures - haha! Some of you asked about getting copy in Ohio, LA, etc, but I think it's only distributed regionally. Fallon also made the contents page!! You can see the article on the Plain Zane website. The girls also got to have some fun in the children's section.
